  1. The Via Alpina is a network of five long-distance hiking trails across the alpine regions of Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Monaco. The longest of trails is the Red Trail which is the main artery of the whole Via Alpina system; it traces the complete arc of the Alps from Trieste to Monaco covering around 2500km and 100’000m elevation difference making it one of the most demanding long-distance trails in Europe. The trail skirts some of the highest peaks along the way, such as the Triglav, Tre Cime of Lavaredo, Hochfeiler, Zugspitze, Silvretta, Bernina, Mont Blanc, the Vanoise glaciers and the Barre des Ecrins. However it also allows you to discover the rich cultural heritage of the gateway towns on or near the trails (Trieste, Monaco, Feldkirch but also Innsbruck and Briançon) and away from the crowds it meanders through the remote villages of the Julian and Carnic Alps, Ticino and Western Alps.

    Waaaaahhh !
Quel voyage ! Quelles belles photos !
Contente de t’avoir croisé au refuge de Furfande dans le Queyras. J’étais impressionnée par le périple, je n’imaginais pas que je le serai encore plus par les photos.
    Félicitations Simon et bonne continuation…
